Hoop It Up 3 On 3
(June 25) If you are looking for a place to go that is family-friendly and you get to demonstrate
how you could have made it to the pros, then the HOOPITUP 3on3 tournament is the place to be.
Now in its 20th year and hosted by the Blue Entertainment Sports Television (BEST), the
HOOPITUP 3on3 will make a stop in Raleigh July 12-13 at the State Fairgrounds.
According to the official website, the basketball tournament which is sponsored by Spalding and
Ariel Investments will be broken into 20 different divisions:
Division #1 - Adult Men's Open (Top Flight)
Division #2 - Adult Men's Competitive Over 6' (19-29)
Division #3 - Adult Men's Competitive Over 6' (30+)
Division #4 - Adult Men's Competitive Under 6' (19-29)
Division #5 - Adult Men's Competitive Under 6' (30+)
Division #6 - Adult Men's Recreational Over 6' (19-29)
Division #7 - Adult Men's Recreational Over 6' (30+)
Division #8 - Adult Men's Recreational Under 6' (19-29)
Division #9 - Adult Men's Recreational Under 6' (30+)
Division #10 - Youth Male Open 18's
Division #11 - Youth Male Open 16’s & 17's
Division #12 - Youth Male Open 14’s & 15's
Division #13 - Youth Male Open 12’s &13's
Division #14 - Youth Male Open Under 11
Division #15 - Adult Women's Open
Division #16 - Youth Female Open 18's
Division #17 - Youth Female Open 16’s & 17's
Division #18 - Youth Female Open 14’s & 15's
Division #19 - Youth Female Open 12’s & 13’s
Division #20 - Youth Female Open Under 11
The team to claim victory in the finals will be awarded with either a medal or a wooden plaque.
The deadline for entry is July 7th.
